Fundraising for the FRIDA Ukraine fund 350,000 UAH

Why it's important?

FRIDA is the largest medical volunteer mission operating in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 900 doctors from Ukraine and from all over the world, have been bravely traveling to the frontline and de-occupied regions to set up field clinics, and treat the civilian population in those areas. Doing so we have helped more than 30,000 patients to date.

Woman’s health is one of the cornerstones of FRIDA’s mission. We provide a wide range of gynecological services for the female population in the conflict zones of this war. Woman that left unprotected, facing the harsh reality of a broken health system, not able to take care of themselves and their families.

The Womens Health Ambulance project, contains everything necessary for qualified examinations, research, tests, etc.

The car is equipped with:

• a gynecological chair;
• an ultrasound machine;
• colposcope;
• diathermocoagulator;
• medicines and medical supplies.

Thanks to this equipment, gynecologists can perform about 40 ultrasound examinations and up to 30-35 pap smears during each visit. With your help FRIDA intends to purchase and equipped another women’s health ambulance, so that our doctors could help more women in our ever-expanding mission.
